The Gordon's Bay Scuba Diving Club is located between Clovelly and Coogee in Sydney's eastern suburbs. The Gordon's Bay Scuba Diving Club was established in 1990 and our main activity is the care and maintenance of the Gordon's Bay Underwater Nature Trail. This 500m long underwater trail winds its way around the bay past rocky reefs, sandflats and kelp forests. By following the trail scuba divers get a tour of some of the Bay's outstanding flora and fauna.

BLUE_GROPER_1.jpg Gordon's Bay is home to a huge diversity of marine life. Blue gropers, weedfish, seadragons, wobbegongs and port jackson sharks are all commonly seen at various times during the year.

There is also thousands of species of marine invertebrates animals including giant cuttlefish, sea slugs, anemones, seastars and sea urchins.

The club is attempting to obtain a used destroyer to sink as an artificial reef off the coast at Coogee. See the Facebook timeline to the left for related postings.
